So today...... Started the car, went to release park brake.... Followed by a loud screeching sound..... Park brake error....

Had to activate the emergency release on the park brake.

Do you think I maybe had a failing epb which was causing the DSC issue? Or just an unlucky second issue Big Cry

Could be.

As I said. Check the temperatures of the wheels (with hand) after a journey.
Check left matches right.

So, garage managed to relatch my park brake and reset/adjusted the brake shoes. Luckily the epb module seems ok.

Also the DSC hasn't been an issue since. Maybe rear shoes were binding or something which set the DSC off etc.

Time will tell.

Are your tread depths even? I had a very similar problem after replacing2 tyres on the rear axle ( due to puncture) with new, (12mm) front were on about 4 mm so left them. I had DSC coming on at roundabouts and the car didn’t feel right at all. Replaced the front two tyres then everything was spot on again. Pressures were fine, it was the difference in tread depth that caused it.
