The V6 diesel has issues of its own. It doesn't have the turbo issues of the TDV8 but the TDV8 doesn't suffer from spun crankshaft bearings or snapped cranks. The TDV6 does suffer from the crossover pipe splitting - this is a body off job. My SDV6 recently required this doing and the bill was £1660 including replacing the rear brake lines (a body off job normally so worth doing when the body is already off) and the ARB bushes (because they're a job of minutes with the body off.

Thanks for tips and advice. Will have a look to see if any TDV8's around, ones I've seen have all been the TDV6. Thanks again. |
