Hi all i'm currently running 275/40/R20s i've read going to 275/45/r20s there is no issues with rubbing etc, could i go for 275/50/R20s or would this cause rubbing on full lock? |

On the L320 the OE 20 inch rims running the factory fit 275/40s are 9.5J. On the L494 the OE 20 inchers run 255/50 and are 8.5J I believe. p.s. IIRC the offsets are et53 and et47 respectively 2010 TDV8 - current - my first RRS, loving it so far...... 2005 Cayenne S - handling defied physics and what a sound, so sod the mpg! 1995 Disco TDI- surprisingly reliable, shame about the peeling dash & other trim Lots of other non 4X4's in between times......... |

I have been running 275/45 x 21" wheels and tyres from a L494 on a L320 for 5 years and had no issues or rubbing in any way, even lowered the suspension slightly. The overall diameter of the 275/45 x 21" is approx. 781mm on a 275/50 x 20" it is 783mm so you should not be a problem with dia. although there is a 4mm offset difference between the 21" rim for the L494 and 20" rim for the L320 don't think should be a problem as the tyre width on the L320 is 275 on a 20" rim anyway. Cheers Col |

check with an online tyre calculator as to what will happen with different profiles as mine is running 255 55 20 and is doing 76 mph with speedo showing 70mph, checked with garage and they cant adjust the speedo with the iid tool as the profile is wrong for my motor https://www.tyresizecalculator.com/tyre-wh...calculator |
