So... I changed the valve cover gasket of the right side of the engine. I put everything back together and the entire engine is misfiring. If I rev it slightly it stalls when it hits idle again. Plot twist, lpg works fine.

So only petrol related thing I messed with is am guessing some high pressure fuel sensor? I had to unplug it. I replugged it before I started the car, also if I unplug it and run the car it's the same issue so could the wires been ? It's the sensor next to the high pressure schrader valve.

Or possible issues, only the bank I swapped that's misfiring which would indicate the valve cover gasket is letting mad air in. But no lean codes at all and the trims seem stable. But still doesn't explain why lpg runs fine.

Maybe there's also some vacuum issue? But I doubt it otherwise lean codes would be occurring

Also maybe oil is leaking to the coils and up the ignition? I doubt it though cause both cylinders misfire

Checked all the plugs just now, no oil on any of them

All I can say is measure and check the plug gaps. There is probably a compromise setting between petrol and lpg (so prob not factory setting)

Then check over your work.
See if fault code indicates a cylinder with issue

Just did quick compression test, 150psi across the board for that bank. Just to check the passenger side bank, that's bank 2 right?

Also from my manhandling of the oil dipstick, its very loose. Could that be causing the vacuum leak? The whole thing is moving back and forth.

Also I remember in some post Andy you mentioned plug gaps that were better for cold starts for this engine?

Also seems to be misfiring on cylinders that I haven't touched so the dipstick seems to be the culprit

My short term fuel trim at idle in Park is 47%. There's defo a vacuum leak somewhere, and I've just got a lean code

Plug you dip stick hole with a cork then and see if it sorts it.

Otherwise cam cover breathers

I mean I've screwed the actual tube :p ama run smoke test tomorrow. Be definitive.

Also anyone who buys valve cover gaskets don't buy brit part. Doesn't fit amazingly well
