A common mod is to find a discreet point to insert a switch in to the OBD Port can bus. As for key cloning I keep my key in one of those pouches. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

What I have heard of being done is, relocate the OBD plug and fit a dummy plug in it's place and wire it direct to a 12volt feed so if anybody plugs anything into the socket it creates a direct short and fries their equipment. Not sure you would be to popular with a dealer or Indi if car went in for work and you forgot to tell them though.

It’s the same as this but there are plenty to chose from and plenty of vendors. Amazon, eBay, other online sources etc.

Deactivate keyless entry from the fob...very easy to do...this key no longer transmits signal without press of button and use a faraday pouch and get ghost II immobiliser fitted which requires entry of "pin code" sequence to start the car.. |

Is ghost 2 different from ghost 1 ? I remember seeing somewhere that ghost have a new feature whereby if the door is opened when the car is running e.g. carjacking that the code needs to be put in again before it will move? |

What he said - I had Ghost on an M3 - though a tad annoying when in a rush - its very very good - your car will go nowhere! |
