Which lights do you call puddle lights?

I've always called the one's in the external mirrors the puddle lights. We can now start a debate. |

I can’t remember which way LR call it, the mirror ones only come on when you unlock the car and the front door ones only come on when the car has run and the doors are opened (on mine at least).

The middle switch turns off all interior courtesy lights and the one's in rear doors, has no effect on the front door lights on mine. L/R do call the one's in the door "puddle" lamps and the mirror one's approach lamps.

Because they don't, that's why but there is a mod to get them to work with the doors opening, should be able to find the instructions on the site somewhere but I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction. The one's being referred to are in the bottom of the door or door trim panel.

I wired the rear interior lights up to the boot light with a couple of diodes. The polarity of the bulb holder must also be reversed. As Col said, instructions can be found on this site. Kev
