If you have the tow pack there is a link on two of the pins on the tow electrical socket.

We haven’t got the electric tow bar so I’m assuming we haven’t got the tow pack 2016 Fuji White Autobiography SDV6 - Fully loaded with almost every extra! 😁

No I am referring to the standard fixed towbar and LR electrical socket.
Plenty of other options regarding how to do it on here if you do a search.
I am assuming that you don't want to use the standard fit under bonnet battery connections?

Yes under the bonnet is fine, so there are connection points under the bonnet? 2016 Fuji White Autobiography SDV6 - Fully loaded with almost every extra! 😁

Yes, have a look in your handbook, I presumed that you had looked at the recommended connections under the bonnet.
Most queries on here are to find a connection point that doesn't require the bonnet to be opened.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I posted a ‘how to connect up a solar trickle charger’ thread in 2016 if you search you will find it and it has photos showing how to connect and how to thread the cables so they are hidden and you can leave the solar panel on top of the dash.
No need to search it’s here http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic49141.html 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Another lazy question - is it a ‘sealed’ or ‘standard’ battery? 2016 Fuji White Autobiography SDV6 - Fully loaded with almost every extra! 😁

J2D its sealed and under the spare wheel but if you have the seven seater its in the same place (but from memory) no spare wheel in the 7 seater. You will have a second small battery behind the side cover rear right in the cargo compartment to support the crazy auto restart system. Hope this helps.
