Identify cable ?

Trying to identify cable ?
Came to change bushes the other day noticed cable on passenger side wheel just hanging there.
Had wheel bearing changed by Land Rover passenger side other month, was thinking have they just left it off ?

Had a look other side, can’t see the same cable running down

Thanks

Brake pad sensor. The lumpy bit should be in the pad. Only fitted one side and diagonally opposite on the rear

Should be a small spring clip on end of sensor to help retain it in the pad, may have got lost if previously removed.

Was work done by a LR dealership? That'd be why! Whistle 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Yes , can’t see what I’m paying for, don’t seem like there work warrants paying that amount.
Unless selling car, maybe looks good that you have used dealership for service and work in service book. I can not see why most of us use them.
Maybe a recamendation on idepentant in my area, Birmingham.

Thanks

Just goes to prove a Full Dealer Service History isn't as good as it's cracked up to be, all down to the individual doing the work and his ethics.

Unfortunately that would appear to be most L/R dealers attitude to their customer's.
