You just need the Land Rover iPod cable with an Apple Lightning to 30 pin adapter. You can then select music either via the centre touchscreen or on the iPhone itself. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

This is Bustanut’s suggestion (version with LR cable if you do not have one):

I have a 2010 and had the same problems with new apple phones...i.e. anything after 2011 apparently because of the different voltages or something between the older phones for which this was designed and newer phones. Even with a legit LR iPod cable it wouldn't work. I then purchased and old iPod off eBay pre 2010 and it works fine now with the correct iPod connection cable. You can use the jack plug situated in the rear of the centre console and plug that into your new phone but you cannot control song lists etc via touchscreen or steering wheel controls. Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience. |

Mine is 2011MY but I doubt it’s different ICE to 2010MY? I used to use a 2006 iPod, and then used iPhone 5, 5s, 6, 8 Plus and XS Max... all of which have worked fine. Sometimes the iPhone 5 can be a bit buggy throwing device errors. iPhone 8 Plus and XS Max have been rock solid.

I have just fitted a Parrot system, it works well but can be a little quiet on the phone calls, you will need an adaptor harness which you can get from Incartec |
