The closer it is to the glass the less likely it is to pick up glare so should see through even tinited glass |

I have a Thinkware F700 no problem with factory privacy glass, hardwired in, camera has the battery voltage settings function built in to it, also fitted with 128gb memory card.

Yes, I have front and rear cam hardwired and image out of rear is not affected by tint. |

I think there is a guide on here to show you how to fit one, it's really not that hard at all. Feel free to give me a shout if you decide to fit it yourself. |

The rear looks rather fiddly to get an "invisible" installation.

Begs the question, does the camera have to be mounted on the rear window, I hate seeing bits of cable on show.
