Looks like it, as I now have 3 bottles Or when the service plan ends I can say to them I shall supply my own oil. |

You haven’t filled in your car details in your profile so we don’t know what RRS model you are driving.

My profile wont allow me to put in anything newer than year 2013 I have a 2015 Range rover sport HSE diesel & although the main dealers get a bad rep, I imagine they know what grade of oil to put in. |

I admire your confidence and I hope it is not misplaced. My experience was taking my Freelander 2 in of its first service and when I was presented with the invoice it said they had put in an A5 oil. I queried this and they said it was just a computer mistake printing the invoice. At that time Freelander2s were having regular DPF problems some of which were attributed to using the wrong oil. I insisted they drain my car and put in the correct grade as speced. They were not happy but did it.

C2 is for DPF cars allowed if C1 difficult to find. See the LR owners manual.

Good bit of advice their Hog.i might look into Mobil oil for our my15 Evoque as it due a service & mot in the next week or so,we only do about 3000 miles a year in it & it’s mainly local runs but touch wood we’ve had no problems with it in the 2.5 years we’ve had it,,the mileage is about 18500 now.

Andy, is your Evoque a 2.2 SD4 or a 2.0 Ingenium motor - the Ford based 2.2 doesn’t seem to suffer the oil dilution issue to the same extent as either the SDv6 or the Ingenium engines. Over on BabyRR.com we have had next to no reports of early services being required due to oil dilution on either the Ford or the Ingenium engines 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
