2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
P400 owners - a question

Has owning the PHEV changed your driving style?
I my case it has - now I am a bit more familiar with the way the regen brakes work I ease off the gas a lot earlier and use the footbrake a lot less than when I had the SDv6. On Tuesday I drove from central Edinburgh 68 miles to home. I left the city centre with 48% charge left and drove out to the Newbridge Roundabout/ M9 in EV mode so joined the motorway with around 5% left in the HV battery. After driving to J10 on the motorway then taking the ring road and A811 to home all in petrol engine only mode I pulled up on my drive with 60% in the battery - more than enough to make the 9 mile round trip to my dentist yesterday in EV mode using power from the recovered energy and for free. When ever I have family members in the car they always ask how I manage not to need to use the foot brake other than when stopped! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
