Engine and Gearbox Undertray

Had my 2007 RRS 2.7tdv6 for a few months now and slowly working through all the issues, the one's I can find anyway. Managed to fix the reversing sensors and low coolant level error last weekend and going to fit some running boards this weekend. I'd also like to sort out the missing under trays (engine and gearbox) but I was wondering if anyone could provide some information first.

Are the under trays common whatever the engine or would the under trays from a Discovery 3 fit? Second question does anyone know the bolt sizes I'm going to need to fit them as I'd like to get everything in one place before crawling about underneath the bloody thing again!

Thanks

Carl

I replaced all my bolts with Stainless as I had to cut 4 out due to being seized and rounding off. I used M10 flanged bolts for the main and nyloc nuts for the 2 side bolts that require nuts. I used serrated washers under the flange heads to make sure they wouldn’t come loose as I didn’t want to torque them into the approved loading. The rear 2 bolts were a little longer than the rest. If eBay will start working for me I’ll get the sizes.

Oh and the 2 front bolts that mount the 2 trays together were not original on my car so I replaced with stainless M6. I should be able to get lengths from the packaging at the weekend. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Should use chimney clips not nuts.

I had 2 clips for the M6 nuts between the 2 guards which I still used. The nuts were on the outer bolts of the large guard and I don’t think there were ever anything but 2 nuts fitted. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Factory ones don’t have nuts.

It’s designed for quick removal to change oil.
Not to fiddle with nuts

New Zealand 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

2 10mm x 65mm long.
10 10mm x 25mm long.
2 10mm nuts. I think they may be locking or possibly serrated flange.
2 6mm x 20mm long.
2 6mm x 13.5mm long.
2 6mm Spring "U" clips if missing.
2 Spacers for rearmost bolts if missing. LR014236

Mine certainly has nuts (2) fitted but is a facelift variant.

Cols put the sizes up, that’s what I bought.

Andy, I’m not sure if it’s applicable to all versions of the sport but on my car, the dealer never takes the guards off to change the oil, it’s quicker to suck it out, hence why the bolts on mine were seized. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve never been removed in the 6 years since it was built. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

The list of bolts I put up apply to a facelift car so they may well be different to the pre facelift model, will try and check. Would appear to be same bolts but the two nuts are as said actualy 10mm spring "U" clips on the earlier model.

Cheers
