Mine used to do this... I would select the lowered position, it would go down, and then I would get a message saying that it has gone to offroad setting, and it would go up.

Just tried it and it took ages just to raise to standard. Lowered again and it said access this time. Raising is slooooooo though. Steve. |

I would check the state of your struts. Mine were badly rusted at the bottom. It used to raise very slowly.

Sounds like you've got two issues, the slow to raise is down to your compressor going weak (gonna need servicing or replacing soon) and the access to offroad is either a calibration issue or a faulty ride height sensor. |

If it detects an obstruction under the car when you try to lower it , it will automatically raise to off road height .

Disconnect battery and touch positive and negative cables together (not the actual battery terminals)

make sure you leave it 20 mins before shorting the leads after disconnecting there is a warning in the maintenance procedures... |
