Just cleaned the car...while doing inside, I noticed the passenger foot well carpet is soaked. There`s no smell.....just water. Any ideas?

Sunroof issue maybe? Any help appreciated. Steve.

Could be or for me it was the slight lifting of the scuttle panel and the water gets in via the cabin filter. Did the fix and it's been bone dry since. Pull the cabin filter (behind the glove box) and see if it's wet for a starters.

There`s no wetness above the floor carpet anywhere. I`ll have a look though, just in case  Steve.

The other week I drove of my sloping drive and the water rushed down the windscreen and at the same time some water trickled onto the passenger seat. Not done it since but could be related.

I may be paranoid but just looking now, and the front of the sunroof looks slightly lower at the front edge than the rest of it.

I`ve tried the front 2 drain holes, nothing comes out of passenger side one.....but the car is sloping to the drivers side at the mo so not a good indication

Also the old rubber had come away from sunroof so I`ve pushed that back in.

Biggest concern is drying out the sopping wet carpet  Steve.

Tried on the flat and the passenger side just bubbles and doesn`t come out under the car. Replacing the tube looks a ball ache. I`ve seen videos where people just replace the end piece / nipple using a 12mm push fit air coupling....What do most people do? Steve.

Well.....I replaced the bottom section of pipe.....what a ball ache....took me 2 poxy hours!!!! At least it`s draining now  Steve.

How did you manage to replace the pipe ?
Had my sport in pieces at the weekend , because the rubber nipple has fallen inside the inner wing
I can only pull the old pipe up from inside the front pillar 6/7 inches , before it gets stuck fast ?
I have a complete new pipe , but can’t get too the inside of the inner wing without taking the fuse box out behind the lower glove box . I’m scared I might break something if I start messing with it

Hi mate. Well....the youtube videos make it look simple..not so. In the end...this is what I did.

Removed A pillar (torx T27) Cut tube wherever you fancy. I pulled it up/out until the nipple was inside the wing (it hadn`t rotted off) I fed some bare earth wire down the bottom bit of tube until it was visible behind the hole (vent needs removing) and then using a hook tool...manufactured from some thin welding wire from work pulled the wire through the hole.

Then I fed the new tube up the wire and secured using some Gorilla tape.(must be very, very secure as it took some pulling) Then, I pulled the wire as I pushed the tubing and eventually it popped its head out.

I then cut to length and joined together using a 12mm push fit connector..which may also have been "found" in work.

It took me 2 hours to work this method out so hopefully it`ll make yours or someone elses job much quicker  Steve.

It will pull out mate....just gotta yank it..once you`ve fed some wire down. I didn`t fancy messing with the fuse box either. Steve.

Just noticed funny smell inside when coming back from work , turns out there is loads of water on passenger side ?
We had a lot of rain lately but nothing that never happened before

Already checked pollen filter and it's dry
I don't have a sunroof
Any ideas ??? Thanks
