Liter DFI V8 Engine

The supercharger has a fill-for-life internal lubrication
system and is aligned with the secondary accessory drive
belt. The belt drives the supercharger via the crankshaft
at 2.1 engine speed.

Totally different supercharger to the M112 fitted to the 4.2 engine, Eaton say do not change it unless you have a leak or suspect contamination etc.

Still think it would be advisable to change it at some point, bit like the ZF transmission.

You can get kits on eBay.

Yeah when you 80K or 100k miles ish good idea to change.

The problem on the 5.0L I would think is actualy getting to the drain/level plug as it's right at the back of the engine and not a lot of room.

Does anyone know what oil spec is required for the supercharger on an L494?

And what quantity is needed?
