I would rather have a V8 than a V6 at least they don't snap cranks as it seems to becoming more common incident |

Quite a few and getting more common as there are 2 on this page at the moment and it appears the warranty company are now saying they will not cover them read into that what you will |

V8 is much better to drive. V6 looks almost as good on numbers but it’s a different beast. IMHO |

Not driven a V8 RRS but in the FFRR it just sounded unnecessarily noisy and was horrid on fuel! How does the V6 petrol compare then? |

I'm sure their isn't that much difference in fuel economy with the V6 SC compared to the V8 SC,its no good going by the LR actual figures as the are always way out.Ive had 2x sdv6 one in a RRS1 & the other in a RRS2 & neither gave more than 28mpg.Plus the V8 petrol is a lot more fun.

Where does your "quite a few" information come from? Do you have definitive numbers? @DM - friend of mine has the V8, loves it. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems. By the age of 50 you have the face you deserve - George Orwell. |
