Ive got the red ones on mine,they were on my sdv6 but when I sold it I swapped them for the ones on our evoque till I took del of my SC them swapped over again,they do look nice with the black interior & I wasn’t leaving them on my sdv6 when they were about a £350 optional extra,even though I didn’t pay for them.

Hi Sally,

Nothing out of the ordinary for my SVR at SVO. I am having mine in Estoril Blue, non black wheels and a standard interior. The 2 weeks factory build, 2 weeks at SVO is what my dealer told me. Hopefully he was airing on the side of caution and my car miraculously manages to miss any of the software / quality glitches that other recent owners have reported and I get mine very soon!

I’ve just put the phone down to my SVO direct contact about putting some bespoke items on my new FF SVAutobiography Dynamic and my delivery date is September ( at the moment) . The reason he gave me is that SVO are making massive changes in their build/ paint shops at the moment because of the RR 2 Door Coupes and the change of designs for the SVO cars from 2017 - 2018 and the introduction of the Project 8 cars.

I know this is no consolation for those of you who have been given dates that have been moved and moved but at least it’s not an 8 month wait ( which will probably be extended)

But we are dealing with Land Rover........

SVRs which are ordered in standard factory colours don’t even see SVO (sorry!)

All SVR’s will go to the SVO Factory as they are produced by SVO, hence the badging on the B pillar when you open front/rear doors. It’s not just the colours either, body changes between 2017 and 2018 models are completed there as well.
Then they are returned to the main production line where they are finally built.
After that I’m not sure if they go back to SVO for QA, as when I had my SVR I only visited the main factory to see it built similar to Phil who gave a great picture heavy example which can be found on the forum.

They are out there already. This one was at the Aberdeen Dealership on 10th January.

I wish I hadn’t said anything, just trying to help, but, I did not say they are not out yet I just said that there are changes going on and units are very slow going through the system as changes are occurring at different stages and priority is being given to different cars at different times. This was the information I was given and could be a load of but as it’s from the horses mouth, so to speak, I suppose it’s taken as red.

See those pictures is getting me al excited.

I was told that mine had been held up by QC, but was now back in QC.

So if they are telling the truth, then a load of them and RRS's should be released soon. So 🤞. I truly hope so as I am just about to take some 'leave', and a Road Trip prior to my business travels would be a Bonus
