thanks guys, will look at the black veneer again if it shows up easily?!?

Yea re colour, when not using it for days at a time will get the external cover to protect it...

Ive had trackers before, understood a cat 6 tracker is on car already, i.e. the InSecure system? How good is it compared to others?

The black veneer is fantastic. I had it for 7 years in my Sport, have it in my Velar, and ordered it again in my new SVR. It's very easy to clean and ages well despite what people online say. All you have to do is once in a while wipe your entire dash and veneer bits with one of those disposable duster heads ("swiffer" here in the US) and then even less frequently clean with an all purpose gentle spray cleaner and a microfiber cloth that is freshly cleaned and not used for anything else. The key is always removing dust particles before wiping and cleaning. I don't get fingerprints all over mine because there aren't really any reasons to touch it! I do the same dusting and wiping technique with the touch screens too. 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR – Bosphorus Grey

I’ve had black veneer Andrew and I just found it a pain in the ass. You are right about making sure it’s dust free before cleaning but it’s keeping it dust free that’s the issue and unless you have an on board vacuum cleaner it’s almost imposible to keep away the bits, it marks if you just stare at it.

For sure, anything glossy black will show dust quickly. I imagine the carbon fiber trim will go longer without showing dust. I suppose it comes down to how frequently someone wants to keep on top of it. How much maintenance, etc. I've read comments from people over the years who've seen it get all scratched up and I don't know wtf goes on inside their cars or maybe they take them to car washes have the untrained detailers have at it. You just can't do that as it's so delicate.

It's like the light leather. I'm on my 3rd vehicle in a row with light grey/ivory/oyster and dye from jeans will transfer onto the drivers seat. It comes right off and will look perfect again. I don't mind wiping it once a month or so. But for some even that is too much effort, and black seats are a better choice.

Unrelated, having had the incontrol touch pro duo for a few months now, I find I don't even care if it gets dusty or covered in finger prints. The first week or two it irritated me but that fades. I expect most Sport owners will have the same experience. 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR – Bosphorus Grey

A bit like an ipad, when buying it I thought this is going to drive me mad, don’t even think about it anymore. That said, I do like my cars squeaky clean Cool

Well, this video seems to show that there might well be a problem with the new Black 22" wheels.

That’s interesting, wonder if you are able to still specify the old style?

Sorry, I forgot they lost the nice wheels. I don’t see any spats on that car though even though it has the 295 wheels, so maybe they decided to put an old set of 22s on a car that was built with 21s.

When did you order Alf and when is car due? Mine was meant to be March delivery and has now been put back to the end of May.
Asked elsewhere at a big London dealer(this week) and was told no delivery before end of June due to a LR problem with the optional 22" black wheels. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.
