Hello could anyone help ??? I have a. Tdv8 2009 bottom front wishbone bushes worn I have been advised to change bushes for polly bushes (powerflex) rather than pay out for new complete wishbone has anyone done this and if so I'm looking for what's best todo ?

If your doing it i would change the whole arms unless you have a ramp and all the tools they can be to get off and out but its really up to you powerflex bushes will last longer. Or you can source a pair of knackered bottom arms from ebay and refurb them with the new bushes either normal or powerflex then they will be ready as soon as the old ones come out and may save you a bit on garage labour or your time

The issue isn't the condition of the arms, it's whether you can get the bolts out. They usually seize in the bushes and the easiest option is to cut the arms off. If you're doing it yourself then time taken to free the bolts might be less of an issue. If paying someone else then it's usually cheaper to buy and fit new arms.

Probably worth doing the bottom ball joint too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

So new boots are poss needed to get the job done too ???

As said by RRSTDV8 it does not matter if the bolt don’t want to come out it won’t trist me I know I have done it twice so new bolts can be needed also seen people cut the arms to get them out but if they come out ok then use super pro as they are softer than polly bushes and not so harsh

Superpro bushes are designed to be as compliant as OEM rubber bushes, while lasting much longer

Polybushes are very harsh on the road

Where can I buy super pro bushes ?

I think advance factors sell them or try ebay have seen them on there
