Hi had a similar problem with my previous model sport, dealers explaination was that they did something with the control software and that fixed it. Whatever it was it worked. |

Then it may need a software update from dealer or through an IDD tool |

The older L320 model can have a known fault with gearbox not changing up that is related to failed or incorrectly fitted stop/tail bulbs (makes the car think it is braking when it isn't).

Thanks for the info Paddi, the car went in its annual service in Nov but prior to that no probs and no work on the brake lights either, although upgrading the front headlights would't go amiss. Makes you think RRS2 HSE Chile Red
