Hi everyone,

The last couple of weeks i've had problems getting my 2008 RRS started. The battery seems to be going flat, but there's no warnings ect on the dash. Do you think it's only the battery thats dead or possibly something else?

Not sure tbh, I've only had the car 18 months.

I suspect it will be a bit cheaper than from Halfords.

I had a starting problem and so replaced the battery. It turned out however that it was the alternator that was u/s and has to be replaced. So I suggest before replacing the battery, get the alternator checked. No good throwing good money after bad.

My original 21 months old Bosch battery had been flattened by the bad alternator but is still going strong and working well with the new alternator in spite of these current low temperatures. Robin
