Vehicle battery replacement.

Is the Bosch or Duracell 019 size battery the correct fitment for the car ?
I have been advised that the larger 110ah 020 battery will not fit without alterations to the tray. Is this correct.?
Also when changing the battery over what is the correct procedure.
Any advice welcomed.

You need to fill in your vehicle details
Remember Land Rover only Fit AGM Batteries. Loads of info on here, just do a search AGM Battery In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

A 2007 TDV8 doesn't need AGM. 019 is the correct battery size. Be careful, as even in the correct sizing you can get small differences in the base of the battery that clash with the box in the engine bay. I had this with the Yuasa one I got from Halfords. Easy enough to remedy but needs to be considered. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Battery replacement

Would fitting the AGM type battery be ok anyway?
Is there any set procedure that needs to be done before and after changing the battery ??

Unlock the vehicle, pop the bonnet, go and make a cuppa for 10 minutes. This lets the various ECUs go back to sleep. Disconnect black then red. Battery is a bit tight coming out and going in and is heavy so be careful. The engine and transfer box ECUs are in an enclosure at the rear of the battery box so take care not to smack them with the new battery. Connect red then black. Make sure the hydrogen vent pipe goes on the new battery and isn't pinched by the battery. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Doesn't matter as far as I know but I'd close the doors. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
