finally decided to swap the defender for an RRS2.
Had some great times with it but having now bought a caravan I thought a little comfort was needed.
Had it a week now and still cannot help smiling everytime I get into it.

I am just dropping by to say hello since I am new here.

I am from Luxembourg and am currently active on the D2BC site, and the FullFatRR site. As you have probably guessed, I currently have a 2003 D2 TD5, and a 2003 FFRR.

I am starting to consider replacing the D2 with a RRS.

I hope that you can all give me advice and help while I look for a RRS

Hi, I am an expat now living in the Dordogne and owner of a P38 HSE 4.6 V8 2001 which I have owned for the last 4 years.

I brought the car to use as a work horse as doing lots of renovations etc and it has been superb for that apart from all the usual niggles, alternator, thermostat, fan, water pump, radiator etc etc that I have renewed on her lol.

Work now done and in a position in the new year for a RRS with a budget of about £20,000 and starting all my research etc now to have the best knowledge when buying.

I had initially thought of getting a discovery 4 but then found these are more or less the same car underneath but more practical than a RRS which seems to have more comfort instead.

Looking forward to gaining knowledge and hopefully four years ownership of a P38 has stood me in good stead for the rocky road ahead that comes with owning RR vehicles lol.

Just a quick hello to all..
I've been the proud owner of a RRS (06 2.7d) for almost 4 years now and it's beginning to need more tlc as time passes.
Just done 101000 miles and now needs a pair of rear upper control arms (ns forward bush is worn and affecting handling and tire wear) to replace. Replaced the front lower control arms a year ago.
Anyway I'm hoping this forum will be a valuable source of information and help with all things RRS -I'm gonna need some!!

Hi - I've just found this forum after picking up a RRS last week. It's my 5th Range Rover but my first sport. Had 2 defenders in the past including an ex mod 110 that is my current piece of fun.
