Perhaps it's because the tank is not fitted horizontally but at an angle and the floating thingy inside the tank doesn't compensate for this. Regards etc.,

I had an Lpg kit fitted to a previous car:

Lpg is not as efficient as petrol so you need more of it to do the same job. Mpg dropped about 15% on Lpg over petrol.

Lpg tanks are designed that they will not fill to capacity so a 90 litre tank will not actually hold 90 litres, IIRC something like 80% capacity as Lpg is stored as a gas.

Car still uses petrol to start and Lpg does not cut in until engine up to temp so in winter you need to make sure you keep petrol topped up.

After 40k the big ends went, never had big ends go before on any vehicle so always suspected it might have been the Lpg but could have been a coincidence.

Enjoyed the petrol with diesel economy but it is back to an oil burner for me

They are not designed that way, the 10% you can't fill is Air as you can't have an air vent like a petrol tank

Before you tell some it's stored as a gas maybe google what lpg stands for lol
