it was not the bracket it was a bad batch of oil pumps where the casting was floored and failed so while you are doing the belt its worth doing the pump at the same time |

Yeah get your front belt and oil pump replaced.

The crankshaft pulley is not on a key way and it needs to locked via the flywheel locking tool., Advanced Factors have all you need including the oil pump.

Ok thanks , so it's just a taper , I'm just thinking once it's off any timing reference is lost so you have to use flywheel ?
