The funniest bit about Clarkson is the people who buy in to what he says. He has publicly stated that he doesn't believe / agree with some/most of what he says on the telly etc. He's an actor, effectively. Sadly there are lots who see his supposed bigotry as a yard stick to base their own hatred. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Mpg is better than expected - I filled up when we arrived and plan to fill before I recharge to get an accurate figure |

I can't see the Scania overhead cable system working out - far better to put containers on electric trains and have electric trucks for local transport |

Muddy what prompted the post above? Too many volts through the heated seats and steering wheel? Even better to send all the containers between UK cities by ship/barge and keep the cargo off the roads and rattlers. Then there might be a few more jobs for UK seamen. To get them inland we need to kick all the pleasure boats off the canals and widen them, put proper automated locks on them and stop living in the 1850's nostalgia / theme park much of England has become. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
