Could be cause by all sort's. The fact you've had an alternator changed and it's just gone might be a coincidence, or the garage that were changing it may have disturbed the ABS sensor while doing the job. If you've had the tracking done that could have thrown it out.

Hi, mechanic went in through the front to change alternator but did have to undo dynamic response (ACE) pump to make room to remove alternator, 4x4 screen seems all ok, car states standard height, car looks standard height. All looks level on screen and outside. |

Are you sure you have dynamic response on the car ? As its only fitted to TDV8's and S/C's as standard. Was an extra on the V6's. The light on the dash can come on with General sus faults as I found out the other day working on a basic disco 3 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Hi, yes def got dynamic response, I've got the filler resiviour to the left of rad, by air box & I've got the pump directly bellow alternator, think the car had few extras when purchased new, it's got Brembo front brakes and 20" wheels. Hoping it is just a standard height sensor or similar, could it be air compressor failure as the front did raise very slow the last time I used it and got message (suspension raising slowly) thought that may of been because I went through the raise & lower procedure a couple times without letting compressor have min to recoupe. |

Just got call from garage, they have done diagnostics and come up blank, they said it looks like it's a faulty alternator as it's overcharging and looks like it's shut down the suspension. I've tried calling advance factors but the number provided on invoice says no longer in service, can anyone point me in the right direction to contact them.. |

You will need a new compressor soon... You might be lucky and it'll be the air drier that needs replacement. |
