Hi, it's riverside recovery that the car is at now in crewkerne, the (so called) mechanic who fitted the alternator was mobile burnham on sea, yes I completely understand what your saying I was very scetchy wen they tried saying it's alternator.

I would find an indi and make friends with them. Most normal garages have no idea how these cars work.

Yes deffenatly, can anyone add a link or diagram off the auxiliary belt route for a v6 sport with ACE. Because I've told garage if can't diagnose fault I will just collect car and take to Indy specialist. But would just like to see if I can confirm the belt is correct or not.

Thanks a lot, yes will order special tool, garage can't find any think so will get car bk and do what I should of done in first place and do it myself and see if can see any faults that mobile mechanic missed or did incorrectly.

Steve from TS Norman is a bit of a treck for you but the guy's a legend. After being through the ringer trying to find a decent garage he's the only person I'll trust with my car. Not only that but they're a 3rd generation family run business, all really nice people.
