United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Laughing
I really don't need a car anymore for commuting. I am more than happy to use the co van. I do have use of many vehicles should i need to. Mrs has a van too, for her business, which gets used all the time. She also has a Rav 4 for family outings. Having 2 dogs in the family, vans make perfect sense. Thumbs Up
Although i am looking for a Focus Rs Mk2 as a summer toy. Confused

How'd you get text messages read aloud? Had this on DS but not found it on phev Confused

I have no idea, I only use it occasionally to collect the Chinese from the local takeaway.

Wife says she did not have to set it up, it just happens...

The car voice says "you have a text message, would you like to read or ignore?" Answer it "read" and she does, in it's own interpretation of the text spelling! RRS MY12 SE Siberian Silver, Ocean, Ivory and Walnut.

About time we had a float update.

As for ADY, he is obviously into Vans, I thought someone (Not me I am a coward) might have suggested he invest in a Disco, and Join BC on the Pikey Forum, lets face it a D3/4 does look more than a tad Transit Whistle However, I would NOT say such a thing. But I wonder if his Van is white Question

Your Turn Muddy Thumbs Up In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Nothing to update really although I did get into a discussion on CaravanTalk in reply to an ex VW Towrag owner slating the phev Wink

He claimed after a week he is getting 28.7mpg on a 24 mile commute and the phev is Censored

Worst I've seen is 35 mpg on a 200 mile trip - yesterday I did 43 miles over 4 journeys with no charging between and managed 64 - maybe it's because I don't drive like a Censored

Just reached 4k stress free miles and I should be enjoying the money I've saved on fuel except swmbo has spent it Rolling Eyes Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Correct Sir, Disco went a year ago now. The Merc that replaced it is a lovely place to be, but it's not been without it's woes...... Crying or Very sad
The BM has been a constant though, performs brilliantly Cool , just ticked over 32k miles now and has returned circa 38mpg since day one to date. XDrive does help in the current conditions, but I really need to get some winters on it as although traction getting away is good, and its stable in corners, it's the braking distance that it has no benefit on. I picked up a nice set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports which I'm looking forward to sticking on in the spring, should be nice to get away from the run-flats. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
MERCEDES GL350 - Metallic Navy Blue w/Grey interior

GOING: BMW F31 335D MSport+ xDrive Touring
GONE: Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE - Stornaway Grey w/Black Interior (wish we'd kept it Banging Head )
GONE: BMW F10 520D MSport - Carbon Black

Volvo!

Thought I would add my two pence worth, after owing 3 Range Rovers and due to company car tax etc., purchased a new Volvo XC90 T8, took a lot of convincing because of my badge snobbery, But have to say the dealer service was amazing, courtesy car for a whole week. No charge for mats, boot liner all updates map and car are free. Car also arrived a week early. 407bhp from a 2.0 ltr car is amazing combined with the battery power in sport mode. Very comfortable, loads of standard options over and above a RRS, no road tax, no congestion charge around London.
Very Happy with the overall experience with Volvo who have certainly upped there game.

Looking forward to LR improving its Hybrid range in the future, as I still love the cars, but at the time March 2016, they could not match on economy, options and final price. Thumbs Up

I was looking at their R Design XC90 after seeing one on the road. They have come on leaps and bounds recently. Leaving other manufacturers behind.
Enjoy. Thumbs Up

I can just picture Muddy logging onto the Volvo configurator... Laughing Laughing
