2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Maybe LR has learned from comments about how orange it was and toned it down a bit - that Evoque was built in March 2014. Those two photos are lot easier on the eye than the photos of my Evoque's interior. I would have it again in the monotone rather than the 2 tone seats though, especially if it is a bit less orange than before. I have been expecting more of a saddle colour than what I got as the only images I had to go on were from the configurator and from seeing a 5.0S/C RRS1 at a motorway services when it was being pounded into the road by Land Rover test drivers who kindly let me look inside (it was a facelift car out testing just before the facelift came on sale back in 2010) with the full tan interior in the flesh when I ordered that car. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

You're welcome.

Happy to help further if you have any questions re finance and getting the best deal. I've been doing it for several years so I know the ins and outs.

BTW, if you bank with Lloyds or Halifax, they now offer PCP which beats LRFinance rate. They are personalise the rate to your circumstances (credit history with the bank) when you log into your account and are typically 2-3pc lower than LRF.

When I told my dealer I would be financing through the bank, they said they wouldn't match it, then on the day before I was due to pick it up they said they would match it. I'm not sure if they thought they could call my bluff, but them matching it made a huge difference in the convenience stakes and it lowered my finance significantly.

Just a a couple of percent difference makes a huge difference to the overall cost. SOLD - MY16 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic - Fire Engine Red, Fixed contrast pan roof, TV, Dual Screen, 5+2, Privacy, Noble paddles.

Tim your pics really seem to be more orange than others I have seen?

That's so much nicer than Tim's Evoque pics! I was unable to make it down to PR in time today going tomorrow morning to see the colours in person and finalise..

Has anyone seen Faralon Black in person? Is it pretty much BMW's Carbon Black? Does anyone know what the differences are between the premium metallic paint options and the standard metallics....all these are now free options on the RRS but there is no real black available as a premium metallic - only the Faralon which looks a lot like carbon black (dark blue)...

Be brave, you're spending £80k+ so make it feel special by not going for the default black/grey paint you see 99% of RRS's in. ... Wink SOLD - MY16 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic - Fire Engine Red, Fixed contrast pan roof, TV, Dual Screen, 5+2, Privacy, Noble paddles.

If I were speccing again I'd go braver than I did this time with the Fire engine red. I think Indus is a massively underrated colour, so I'd be thinking about for Indus paint, Fixed Contrast roof, black or titanium wheels, with Pimento or if I wasn't feeling that brave then then Ebony/Lunar/Pimento leather combo. Very Happy SOLD - MY16 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic - Fire Engine Red, Fixed contrast pan roof, TV, Dual Screen, 5+2, Privacy, Noble paddles.

Clydesdale asset finance rate is currently 4.2% APR, cracking deal IMO

But can and do these lenders GFVs match those given by LRFS? As if they offer a lower final value the repayments will be higher even if the APR is lower?

Unless things have recently changed at Clydesdale, that's not a PCP. Clydesdale offer what's called a "Lease Purchase" scheme, which is a loan with one final large deferred payment balloon. The important thing to note here is that unlike a PCP the Balloon on a Lease Purchase is not a guaranteed future value, so at the end of the term if your car is worth less than the balloon you have to find the difference. You also can't hand the car back at any point to settle the deal, the car is yours, even at the end of the agreement when the balloon is due the only way you can get rid of the car is to sell it if you don't have the money for the balloon. SOLD - MY16 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic - Fire Engine Red, Fixed contrast pan roof, TV, Dual Screen, 5+2, Privacy, Noble paddles.

Exactly right about the Clydesdale scheme. Lease or hire purchase scheme will only work for cars with a decent residual, on the quote I have from them I adjusted the future value payment down from what they originally said to play safe, if my car won't be worth that then we are all doomed.

The halifax car finance is a regular PCP at 4.3% but only up to £60k.

Plenty of choice out there and importantly all cheaper than the dealers finance

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

You want a different colour then Scotia Grey looks lovely on RRS, if you really want to be very different and have a car that no one will want to steal because they are so rare, then go for Zanzibar with black contrast roof and black wheels. I was advised by the local police after 2 attempts to steal my white Evoque and a Stornoway Grey FFRR that I should bite the bullet and go for the most outstanding colour I could get as they stand out so much that the public remembers that much better than all the white, red, blue, grey or black cars on the roads! The full tan interior looks good on them too. I have only seen one Zanzibar RRS and one Zanzibar Disco4 but it there are quite a few Evoques around in that colour! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Went to PR to have a look at the two toned tan leather (as per my earlier pics). I can confirm these are far from orange and a lovely shade of Tan. I then took pictures and they did look more orange than in real life. Tim those seats in your old Evoque are indeed orange and the newer shade of Tan is not at all like that.

Looking on Autotrader there isn't a single car in the UK with this interior at the moment so I may be going towards a resale disaster but hey ho - If I like it I am sure someone else will too when I come to sell it Smile

I'm ordering a Santorini Black AB with the Tan and black interior Mr. Green

thanks RRSman for confirming this. I really wanted the tan seats so decided to bite the bullet and take the risk, I think it will look great but after yesterdays pics of Tims orange looking seats I was having my doubts. Roll on March!!
