18 from 4.2sc mostly motorway 70-75. And I thought that that was a bit low due to a slight misfire issue. |

15.2 from my 4.2 SC. Mix of everything really. Still seems to be better than most so far but not all right enough. |

Now my car has loosened up a bit I'm still very pleased with the indicated MPG on a trip back from Scotland to Cardiff not so long ago. Run back home on a Sunday so the Motorway was quite busy but I reckon it's still not bad for an SVR. The MPG is much better than my previous 2010 RRS 5.0L SUpercharged.

Just completed my second trip (Sussex to Aberdeenshire) this year. Total miles 1390; Fuel used 241.6 litres; cost £302.68. Works out at 26.15 mpg (actual not indicated) and a cost of £0.22 per mile. That's up on my trip in the summer which worked out at £0.18 per mile and 27.23 mpg. Increased consumption was I guess down to winter motoring versus summer and therefore using more electrics and it was probably a bit faster average speed.

Eaters, next time you do that run try to get as far as J10 on the M9 just north of Stirling Castle - there is a Sainsbury's forecourt less than a mile from the motorway heading into Stirling. When used I to do Southampton to Stirling I topped up at Gaydon on the M40 and then had enough to get home 20miles west of Stirling without refueling at Stirling although I usually did fill up as prices in the village filling station are similar to the motorway services prices. That was a 2007 TDV8. I can do the same run in my 3.0SDv6 on ¾ tank of diesel provided I rein in the speed and stick to speed limits ruthlessly. I also generally get noticeably better mpg going south than coming north............... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

We have just driven from near Chamonix to Calais; 500+ motorway miles with 99% of the journey using cruise control set at 75mph. Slightly disappointed at the indicated 32.9mpg shown in the trip computer (which was reset at the start). 3 people, with moderate baggage (all below the boot curtain).

Hafman - can't speak for the V6 but I know that in the V8 there's quite a noticeable difference in mpg between cruise at 70 and 80 mph. Robin
