The new General Grabber AT3 is a 50/50 all terrain tyre with winter rating (mountain snowflake symbol). They're still new and thus a touch pricey but available as 255/55/19 with H speed rating (130mph). 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Just bought some of these this morning from AJS - came it at the same price as the Grabber AT (1) but only because the manufacturer cocked up the pricing They might still have them at that price if you're quick. First impressions are good - very quiet and feel much smoother than the road tyres that I've replaced them with. Almost like having a new car. |

i had michellin cross climates on my saloon car, 3 peak rating for snow, but never got round to testing them, shame they dont do them for 4 x 4 as they were classed as all season tyres |

Seems like the Grabber AT3 could be exactly what I'm looking for as well. I've been struggling until now. Either I had to fit Grabbers (good in mud but useless in winter conditions), or fit my Vredesteins which are great in winter conditions but useless in mud. |
