The new General Grabber AT3 is a 50/50 all terrain tyre with winter rating (mountain snowflake symbol). They're still new and thus a touch pricey but available as 255/55/19 with H speed rating (130mph). |

Just bought some of these this morning from AJS - came it at the same price as the Grabber AT (1) but only because the manufacturer cocked up the pricing ![]() First impressions are good - very quiet and feel much smoother than the road tyres that I've replaced them with. Almost like having a new car. |

i had michellin cross climates on my saloon car, 3 peak rating for snow, but never got round to testing them, shame they dont do them for 4 x 4 as they were classed as all season tyres |

Seems like the Grabber AT3 could be exactly what I'm looking for as well. I've been struggling until now. Either I had to fit Grabbers (good in mud but useless in winter conditions), or fit my Vredesteins which are great in winter conditions but useless in mud. |
