Picked up my first Range Rover Sport this week
Managed to get hold of a 2010MY 59 plate Bali Blue HSE with Ivory leather TDV6 3.0
So far i have loved it on the trips i have been on!
Isnt the best example due to my low budget for a facelift but i will do the work on it to get her there
First on my list is getting the cambelts changed for peace of mind
And a good detailed valet clean inside and out

I have come from having a few bmw of which i was part of forum groups
A 325d remaped was the first, then a 335i manual which is the best car i have ever driven
Then a lowly 120d auto to get me by until i got the sport

Possibly looking for an autobioghraphy body kit for future of the price is rigjt so if anyone knows or has some bumpers spare please let me know

Also requrire a rear passenger door speaker cover
And a 3.0 tdv6 engine cover

Any advice help or info is greatly appreciated

Hi everyone

After a Series IIA, a turbo 90, 3 5er BMW's; 3 Discoveries (SeriesI;II and III), I have now a RRS TdV8, 2008 reg. with 139'000 km. I bought the car with a brand new engine a year ago with 94'000 km. One of the first things I did was putting a JE engineering soft ware enhancement which really makes the car more lively.
I have a problem with the gearbox though. In 2nd gear, driving downhill with engine braking, when the rpm's fall below 2200 rpm the gearbox goes into neutral and kicks in again, with the engine accelerating (like you blip the gas in a downshift) whenthe rpm's are above 2500. This is annoying especially since I do lots of mountain driving. No matter what updates are downloaded the problem persists. I even had the gearbox flushed with a cleansing fluid and put new oil in it, no change or only for a short time. No other gear shows the same problem.
Does anyone know what is going on here?

Well I did it. after all these years of Disco 2 and 3 and Bmw x5 I have now entered RRS World. Have I done the right thing?

RRS tdv8 she with Freeview tv.

Just got myself a RRS TDV8

Had loads of 4wd`s, 3 Defs, 2 Discos plus some jap stuff

More importantly I am back to the Green/Black oval lol

Missus is pleased because she thinks this one will not persistently mark its territory like Defs do.........

When tyres need it, I WILL be putting ATs on it and WILL go laning, after all why have a 4WD and not use it to full capability

Hi I have just bought a new 2016 Sport and I am just getting used to all the whistles and bells. I keep going through the forum to get info on all the reports on the Sport. Thanks for all the time and trouble you folks go to make this a great forum
