Hi I'm new to the whole forum thing but have joined to see if I can get any help from you guys. I'm currently in the process of a dash change and hit a wall trying to remove the centre console. Any help would be really appreciated.

Previously had a 4.2V8 supercharged.....moved to a Mercedes ML for work but now picking up a MY2013 3.0 TDV6 HSE Luxury next week ....happy to be back BMW 530D 2011 still here

Rangeroversport 2.7 2006 my rear passenger side door lock will not open from outside or in side could anyone help me

Hi, you've posted this in the wrong section but we'll let you off just this once for being a newbie.

Locking problems with individual doors are usually a partial failure of the electrical latch mechanism and the fix is to replace the whole latch module. If you are handy with DIY it is something you can do yourself.

Does the remote fob unlock the door? If not, you could try starting the engine and letting it run for a few minutes so the electrics are running at full voltage, then press the dash button to unlock all doors whilst someone else is pulling the outside door handle.

Do you mean you tried changing the latch module - or just that you tried the different ways of opening the door without success?

If you really just can't open the door any way at all it might be necessary to seek professional help.

A new owner of a 2011 RRS in Santorini Black. Took delivery from Guy Salmon who were frankly superb in every way. I told them what I wanted and they found me the one. Unfortunately took delivery on Friday and then flew to the USA on the Saturday so not had to much time with the car.

Bought the spare wheel protector and the security bolts for the rear light lenses which I will fit upon my return. Hoping to pick up loads of advice from the site and hoping to offer some in return

Since purchase I have reading posts on this site and have been amazed by the wealth of information available.

I very much agree with the idea of sharing knowledge and know how to understand and solve an issue, rather than parting with sheds loads of hard earned cash at the dealer!
