Sounds ideal to have remote for sure, although I'd settle for timed right now.

^^^ You're sad I agree it is great and they seem to have improved it even further and in L494 ... 10 minutes or sometimes even less makes the cabin very welcoming when it is bitterly cold outside. I also use remote only as my car usage isn't at specific times of the day. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Yeah eventually may fit the remote. My days are pretty regimented so I guess timed should be ok. Out of interest what range does the remote have?

I love the fact that I don't have to scrap ice from the Windows like my neighbours do on a frosty morning! Best mod I ever made, enjoying a brew while its doing its thing. Super easy to fit receiver and antenna, activate and pair the remotes too. Cheers Fawad for selling me your old parts

Chris - I would get the remote I wake up 5am ish - look outside - if its frozen I aim the plipper & off it goes. Twenty minutes later I am sitting in a toasty vehicle - don`t even need the heated steering wheel  16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Disco Mikey enabled timed climate yesterday and kindly fitted the remote kit bought from Bodsy. All working and very impressed. Heats up car on cold chilly mornings in Scotland with a touch of a button.
