Hankook Tyres

I have just noticed that the tyres fitted by my friendly LR dealership, Hankook Ventus do not even meet
minimum load ratings, guess where that the Sport is going on monday.. apparently the 255/50/19 W is rated
only to 103 Evil or Very Mad Not happy to find that out, only after i asked local tyre shop about balancing the wheels
they spotted it Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Hankook Website

http://www.hankooktire.com/uk/passenger-ca...-rh06.html

Looking at the 255/50/19 shows 107 W unless you have the S1 Evo fitted which as you say are 103 W.

I think most RRS fit the RH06 Hankooks

I've just this week had fitted 2x 275/40/20 Ventus St (RH06) which are 106 W.
I would have liked to go to the 45 profile but the other 2 tyres which are Conti Sports have only done 12k and still look like new.
The Hankooks cost £120 supplied & fitted locally.

the dealers have fitted the 103 W's for some reason... i do have 3 General grabber AT's in good nick, plus one brand
new GG AT on a 6th Off road wheel, so will buy two more to complete the set and fit this week.. Car is staying put until
they are retro fitted, do not want to tempt fate by driving illegally

When I bought my RRS from a LR Dealership it came with Goodyear Wranglers were load rated at 103. I only noticed when I was looking to replace with something else. What's scary is that the dealer had replaced two before sale because the front pair were badly worn on the shoulders - I noticed it during my look around it prior to purchase. The dealer hadn't even noticed the damage so they obviously don't check things very well. I didn't know the load rating requirements before I viewed it or I'd have had them change all four for the correct tyres. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Glad to say the Dealership has come to the Party, they will replace the front two with new GG AT's and retrofit
3 near new GG AT's in my possession, at their expense .. overall a thumbs up for the dealers, no quibbles, just said
bring it in and we will make it right Thumbs Up great to see some service without the hassle

Cheers
