Whilst changing the front tyres my garage said 3 of the wheels needed repair. Vibration around 60-70 was quiet severe.
They say a combination of pot holes and speed bumps is spawning a new market in wheel repairs.
Surely LR make them strong enough for off road so why has this happened.
Anybody else had this and if so what did you do about it ? Cheers, Dave

Platinum Wheels in Swindon sorted it out for £10 during a wheel refurb.

hmmm, that's cheap, internet search suggest £50 a wheel. Almost worth driving up there. Thanks.

Hi,

As the tyre was coming off for the refurb and the wheel was getting re-balanced it was an"additional" £10.

£50 as a standalone job sounds about right if the tyre has to come off to do it.

You could always give them a ring.
