Hello everybody is there any that as had crankshaft problems with RRS 2010 85,000miles my as bust meaning new engine which I find bad for such a quality car anybody else had problems

Just new here I'm on disco3 and defender2 forums,I'm after advice on a potential purchase the car is RRSPORT S model 55reg what sort of spec would this have I'm aware no sat nav or heated seats, but not sure what else against higher spec car the car looks great, any advice would be great

Hi I hunted around for about 6 months looking at the whole range of sports and went for the hse in the end it as every thing as standard and i find i use just about everything at some point heated seats are a god send this time of year sat nav can be a life saver in heavy traffic but you have to look at what you need the sport for is it for show or practical use and if you do get the lower spec will you regret it later on after driving it for a while hope this helps a bit and good look with what ever you go for

The thing is I currently drive disco3 se with sat nav and heated seats which I do use but wonder if they weren't there in RRSPORT would it bother me, the car would be for practicality as with disco3 only reason thinking of changing us I miss auto as disco3 is manual

Also thinking RRSPORT looks a bits smaller wife might be able to manage it as she thinks D3 to big for parking

I am based in Queensland and don't yet own a RRS but hope to get one soon.
Although I am Australian I spend most of the year in the UK where I own a P38 diesel Range Rover and use it for travelling in Europe and Asia. I have taken it to Mongolia twice and been through Russia 5 times with it and also turkey a couple of time and clocked up over 100 000 mile with it in 5 years.
I have to sell all my classic cars and then i will be looking for a Range Rover here in Australia which I will hope to do the desert track in. I have already traveled most of the tracks in a series 111 not so long ago but wish to do it in comfort next time as im getting older
