United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Bonatti Grey
hello

hi everyone had my rrs 4.2 v8 2006 48500m for a couple of weeks had to have some bodywork repairs done and a few cosmetic upgrades

having service done tomorrow then monday taking out warranty £70 pm through warranty wise after reading a lot of fault stories on here.

extremely happy with it so far.

i have 1 error light which comes and goes but does not affect the vehicle in any way at all ? from what ive discovered its the dynamic response light, the previous owner had it in lr and also found no fault.

thanks

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Siberian Silver

Hello All,

I've just purchased my 2012 RRS Autobiography 3.0 SDV6 in silver. I have wanted this car for a long time, I have to say my first impressions are that it is great, love the heated steering wheel. Very Happy

One concern - it seems to have quite a lot of tyre wear on the edges of the tyre. Is this normal? Or was the previous owner a rough driver?

Thanks,

Lee

The Sports are awesome when behaving but a pain in the Censored when playing up - a must is a bullet proof warranty. You are in the right place for almost everything associated with the RRS the guys on here could teach both the sales reps & service technicians a thing or too Whistle As for looking for individual faults - hopefully you will enjoy many years of trouble free Landrover ownership Thumbs Up 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

There is no warranty remaining on mine - I purchased private.

I did call a Land Rover dealer to enquire about warranty, but they said they will only put it on a vehicle they sell. Another dealer offered a warranty but it was not an official LR one.

I'm not sure what to do - but I do want a 2 year warranty, any Ideas? 2012 Range Rover Sport Autobiography 3.0 SDV6

Just joined, always fancied a RRS since they first came out.Remember taking one on a photoshoot from Gaydon in our trailer and being surprised that it went in without opening the topflap unlike the RR.Mind you when I picked it up the following day the photoboys had run the battery down so had to winch it in backwards which led to a very slow trip back to Gaydon.
Looking to replace 10year old Xtrail diesel soon.Prior to that ran 245 Volvos--3 over 25years.
Probably have loads of questions as worried about DPFs(retired so only do small mileages/short trips usually)therefore would prefer petrol in Red or Blue which seem pretty rare, or am I worrying unnecessarily about DPFs?

Looked at a 2006 petrol last week but was from N.Scotland coast originally and had bits of 'rubber' hanging down round wheelarches, which Dealer(2nd hand car lot)said were cosmetic and most owners removed them!

Prefer the older shape and will probably look to buy an early 2005/2009 model to see if it suits.Have some mechanical knowledge, usually do own servicing and repairs--have owned MG's/Frogeyes/Morgans/Frazernashes and currently an MX5.

Spent 30years in Banking till 1995 when they got rid of everyone who had experience and qualifications, then took up vehicle movements and even got an HGV licence at age 59!

Look forward to hearing other members experiences/advice and hopefully contributing in due course.

Hi Woodsie
You sound like an ideal candidate to be a RRS owner, handy with the toolbox Thumbs Up
With the rubber you mention, they are just wheel arch trims, seem to perish every 5 years. We buy the freelander 2 trims, cost about £40 for all the car, they are half the cost of sport ones but the same product only longer.
They are good enjoyable cars, like with any vehicle there will always be more bad reports on forums. But hey they cant be that bad as they are now more common than a ford fiesta
Hope you find a good one

All the best Range Rover Sport 2010 3.6TDV8 HSE Santorini Black
