I'd have the fault codes read before you start trying to trace a wiring fault that may or not be there.

so just had the fault codes checked. apparently had some 20 codes thrown up. Mechanic reckons caused by jump start/ electrical probs. did have a new alternator recently but sensors fine for a while after that.
