Misc faults with my TDV8 07

Just read the stored faults today. Would any of these require further investigation? I've cleared them and will see which ones come back again. BTW, why is the millage reading wrong for the first error? Almost 10mil miles...

Check your battery (and alternator). Thumbs Up

There was an issue with the mileage conversion (kilometres is the native) but IIRC, that should have been sorted out on subsequent firmware versions - have you checked it's up to date? Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

If you haven't already, install the updater from the GAP website (and run it), connect the tool and click "Find Device". Once found, you'll be able to see the current firmware version and it will offer to update to a later one if available. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

I thought you meant about ECU version. IIDTool was already on latest version before I have read the faults. Should I contact GAP for a potential bug?

Yes, I think so. (I've just tried to check, but now I can't find the thread where it was mentioned that it should be fixed. Rolling Eyes ) Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

always there on mine - but it is just the battery backup sounder and something else that's not vital on that circuit? Nothing seems to be wrong with them.

usually there too - no problems with suspension.

Always there too - and no issues with my HVAC sure I read somewhere that brand new cars leaving the factory have this fault stored so it is just a glitch. Sorry - I seem to have c***ed up the quote thing but you hopefully can see what I mean Embarassed 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Thanks for the replies. After clearing all faults yesterday only the following returned after a short (15-20 min) trip. Guess that I might need to have the battery and alternator checked although everything seems fine (car starting without probs, IIDTool reports 12.4V).
