England 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Rimini Red
DAB radio

Hi, has anyone fitted a DAB adapter and does it work ok? I am thinking of buying one but there are 100's on eBay from £50 to sell you last kidney to pay for it £££ so I am now totall confused, will I have to take out the radio unit?

Hi if your fitting a aftermarket DAB ( add on unit ) then YES the centre part of the dash will need removing to access your radio ( satnav) connections. You will need to get to your FM aerial connection for your new DAB ariel and also to connect the unit. Also if your buying the steering wheel connections they are also plugged in here.
Easy to get to just open the top part of your glovebox and pull off the centre dash part ( where your clock and stop start button is etc.
you may have to pull the left hand heater vent off if your fitting a aftermarket windscreen arial to hide the cables. Once removed you'll be able to connect your unit and hide the unit in the dash.
