Yes I've had a look at that but the noise is far too regular and mechanical sounding to be a stone, I just picking people's brains because I don't want to drive it and do more harm than good, Thanks anyway. |

Did you notice it from pulling away - had the same symptoms - it was a park brake clip. Does the park brake screech when put on or taken off ? 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Is it worse when you turn and put more weight on that wheel ? Then could be wheel bearing - relatively cheap fix. I wouldn't drive too far like that. Get a shop to put it up on a lift - take a look at brakes , driveshaft etc . |

Sounds like the noise my CV joint made when it started to die. Whip the wheel off and see if either of the CV boots is split. Do you know if a CV boot has been replaced in the past? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

No it's not worse when turning or putting more weight on one side just constant all the time. I don't think he CV joint boot is split at all but it's my plan to have a proper investigation later on today. |

It's been in to Landrover and indeed it was the handbrake retaining clip broken. All fixed and good now. |
