Just saying hello from sunny Wiltshire.

Just picked up my 2014 RRS HSE in Corris Grey with black roof and privacy glass. Have always like RR' s and was looking at a 4yr old one, when I took a new shape RRS for a test drive - Wow! I was hooked. So stretched to get myself a 1 yr old one. Terrific looking vehicle and drive is impressive too. Went to see the folks up in Chester at the weekend - did over 500miles on one tank and managed 38mpg! So after my last car, a 2009 Jaguar 5.0L XKR, and with half the VEL, this beast is positively economic!! ha ha

Was active with our XK Forum, so hoping to find similar help, advice and banter here

Hi ya Joining this site was worth its weight in gold ,i have had an ongoing problem with the EPB system (both fault lights staying on).The car has been in to a RR/LR specialist and been plugged in and code came up so they replaced the switch and lights on in few days again ,was going to book in again when i found your site on same day and guy with same problem which he tracked down to wiring on N/S/R wheel arch plugs and i had same fault harness rubbed through. Thanks brilliant Tony (very satisfied member)

Hi My names Dan, 35 from Norfolk Uk and I've just had the pleasure of getting my hands on a 2008 RRS with fantom styling. Im new to this forum but have frequented many others over the past years based on the vehicles I've owned. Also an avid member on the detailersworld forum, Coming from an Audi s4 Cabriolet and a few subarus and various others before that.

The RRS I purchased from my mother so that car is not exactly new to me..lol But as she has just taken delivery of her brand new V8S RRS autobiography, it seemed a shame to let it leave the family. It's like marmite some like the styling some don't.

Hi, recently bought a RRS 5.0ltr Supercharged 2010 facelift model. I previously had a Vogue with the BMW 4.4ltr V8.
The forum looks grand, crammed full of useful information.

I have just sold my disco 3 and was a disco 3 member, great to see this is the same guys running it here.

The disco 3 forum was a wealth of knowledge, Now I have a RRS, This looks great.

Now, off to start searching for the noisy front suspension fault..grrrrr

RRS HSE Dynamic on order.

Was Causeway grey, which has just been discontinued, with the 16 model year.
Think it will now be Carpathian grey, but no colour samples available yet!!
Paid my deposit 8 weeks ago, and still haven't been allocated a build slot.
A bit frustrating to say the least, but really looking forward to it.

Hi,
I was reading your posts about the rasping noise. I have a 2005 RRS HSE, and 3 different symptoms, the rasping noise described, tachometer needle fluctuation and car vibration when accelerating.
I just replace the gearbox (ZF 6HP26X), the Torque Converter (both new found on a local dealer !!!) and also front and rear propshafts.
The results of all this was everything but the noise resolved. The rasping noise decreased substancially, but i still ear something when i take my foot of the gaspedal. Everything else is 100%. Vibration disapeared, tach is working fine (needle stop fluctuation).
