I've recvently replaced most of my interior bulbs with LED's. 1 in the boot, the 3 front overhead lights, 4 doors, 2 under-dash and the 2 puddle lamps in the wing mirrors.

As the LED's draw much less current, the car sees this as a fault.

I have also replaced mine, I made sure they where CANBUS ones, so the car does not see them as faulty, I would send them back and get some that work with the Canbus system 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater |

Thanks - I just assumed with them being Philips bulbs (not cheap) that they would be OK. Just had a look at their site and apparently I would need to buy a CANBUS warning canceller per bulb as well to get rid of the error which would double the cost of them... not to mention making them a pain in backside to fit.

I have several LED bulbs on mine that cost £25 a pair and my H8 cornering ones were over £20 each, but then, those are all exterior ones...

Sidelights are next on my list... was going to go with the Osram ones given they'll get heavy use...

Thanks for the links, unfortunately 2 of the 3 are out of stock but I'll get those 501's for the sidelights for sure as mine look simply awful alongside the Xenons.

You can take the cover off the lights and take a look but otherwise, it's just how blue they are. Like this:

That's really helpful thanks. I'm not aware of any blue tint to my headlamps - the closest match in that picture would be the 4300k ones I think so 5000k would be the way to go... however they're out of stock too!!! |
