if youre just changing the disk pads, then you don't need to touch the handbrake. Altough its as good a time as any to check them for wear and adjust accordingly. Bodsys Brake Bible

The light has come on to say the pads need changing so obviously will need to change the sensors. Is there one on each side?

You only have 1 sensor on the drivers rear side and 1 on the front passenger side. Make sure you check the sensor first as I had this flag up and could see the pads had plenty of meat on them. Turned out to be a broken sensor cable. Changed cable and all OK. |

I am doing the same. But changing all front and rear brake pads.

Changed the rear pads & sensor today with no problems.
