Hiya , been browsing the forum as I've just secured a RRS 2005 and pick it up in 2 weeks . Looking forward to getting to know everyone and having a giggle as well as soaking up as much advice as I can read for future reference .
There are some beautiful looking sports on here and cannot wait to be a part of the fold . I don't know what to expect from the RRS going forward but all I know is when I took it for test drive I was smiling from ear to ear . I nearly wet myself when i got out of the car and saw the car "drop" it's suspension . I'm easily pleased LOL .Obviously I'll post some pics up including spec and extras .

Have been longing for a RRS for many years, finally in a position to get one 😃

In fact I am already looking for advice from you guys...
Looking to get a TDV8, ive seen a 2007 with 122000 on the clock in good nick and FSH
I have been negotiating before going to view, if all is well I think I could get it for £12500.

Are there any major problems to check for? Would I be better off looking at a lower mileage petrol?

Hi all I purchased my RRS supercharged on Saturday and I have to say I think I love it, coming from a highly modified Audi this is somewhat different but will suit my needs a lot better (shooting, mountain bikes, towing misuses horse) anyway it seems to have bags of power but has a little lag which I'm hoping the pulley upgrade will sort out, I have already booked in for exhaust mods to get that big old V8 to sound a little better. The car is wrapped in satin pearl white sounds a bit garish I know but actually looks a lot better in person, one of the main things that got me was its colour under the wrap which is Rimini Red (my favourite colour) I have been assured the bodywork underneath is top notch so I plan on removing the wrap when I buy wither the HST or the Autobiography kit and have any paint needed done at the same time. Also looking in to the mudtech 4x4 kit and a few interior electrical mods.Anyway here are a couple pics of the car as it is at the moment

I am new to the forum. I think this is a great resource with very helpful members.

I have only had the car for a week, its a 2005 with 35000 on the clock, but loving it so far.

Very interested to see if any one has replaced the standard head unit with the Parrot Asteroid smart, leaving the sat nav screen as standard?

Initially though I will need to improve the pairing of mobile phones to the bluetooth and having access to the phonebook, my RRS has the telephony buttons on the steering wheel but I have to pair each time I get in the car with the 2121 code.

Hi, we have a 2010 RRsport Black which we love but we seem to have had a spot of bad luck! Last week after driving to work with no problems, I went to start up again and had the following alerts: Gearbox Failure / Restricted transmission / No forward alert... it moved very slowly so called LR assist.

Young lad tried to reboot and pulled diagnostic cord out by mistake whilst pc in operation - then car stuck in PARK...

Dragged onto the back of an AA lorry - taken to local LR dealer who has stated the following: after a £140 diagnostic check,a module is not communicating with the gearbox and it will cost £3K+ to replace...and only then will they know what is wrong!

This is an amazing cost just for a module and I wanted to know if anyone has ever had the same problem or can help...

FYI - we had the fuel tank dropped the week before to replace a faulty seal... would the battery have been disconnected and caused an issue??
