On the plus side, it can't have spent that much time in a garage being fixed to have racked up that mileage!

You could bag yourself a nice Supercharged with much lower miles for that money Very Happy, I was going to spend about £16k on a TDV8 but have decided to go petrol instead.

^^^ Does that include 5k cash back Question I really wouldn't entertain a vehicle with that sort of mileage. We could be wrong, but knowing how unreliable these sports are, put aside at lease 5k for expected repairs in the near future. I would expect him to snap your hand off at 11k. Shocked I bet he didn't give anymore than 8.5k for it. Good luck. Bow down

It's an interesting conundrum. If there is a full set of paperwork showing that things have been attended to throughout its life then it might actually be a good buy. I'd have thought that if the turbos, for example, were going to go pop then they'd have done so by now - they seem to go well before 100k miles from what we've seen in our various vehicles. If it has spent its days doing 100 mile trips each way up and down a motorway then the mileage isn't that scary really.

The issue is that you probably won't get the full folder of paperwork when buying from a garage. If they do have it all and it shows correct servicing, correct parts used, items changed outside of the service schedule when necessary etc. then why not? I reckon £10k would be tops for it though. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Think of the re sale value after you've owned it. Who'd buy a car from you with more than 200k?

Is 11k your price range? I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.

Resale value won't be great, true, but the most he can lose is the sticker price. I've lost that much in depreciation in the 3.5 years I've owned mine. A £10k RRS is probably worth £10k in bits if broken up and sold... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Well

I've got a 2010 BMW 320d with 90K on the clock and the dodgy engine that can break a cam chain and cause 10K worth of damage. So I've mentioned a complete swap. My BWM for the RR
